A fairy tale ending
Once upon a time there was a girl who had a beautiful wedding with over 400 guests, including 150 children. The event was in the evening, and the dessert spread and icecream bar were both big hits with the little attendees (not sure about the parents, but the bride wasn't around for the aftermath). An evening of greetings and hugs by loving chocolately hands played a heavy toll on this girl's dress. After the wedding, money was tight (okay, money was non-existent) and she couldn't afford a fancy preservation of the dress, so she hung it up in a bag in her closet, thankful it had served her well.
Fast forward fifteen years and six children later...and her three little girls are looking through a wedding album and asking to see the aforementioned dress. They oohed and ahhed when she brought it out, and their mother regretted that she never took the time to remedy the unfortunate chocolate stains. Then she had a thought! Could a microfiber envirocloth do its magic, even after 15 years? It worked on so many other tough areas...it just might work.
THE END.
Except it wasn't, because her own children continued to make messes and spill food on their clothes. But in my experience, chocolate seems to be no match for an envirocloth on a toddler's shirt (or a preteen...I can't get them to keep wearing bibs, but the truth is the spills don't always let up). I'm not sure how many other foods can be lifted off clothing with a quick spot clean, but I've had great success keeping a travel envirocloth handy, and just spot cleaning shirts after a messy meal. It's saved me time, detergent, and the hassle of extra laundry.
