Monday Makeover

Happy Monday morning! It's time to get real and see the inevitably dirty corners of our home, and the solutions that transform them into havens. You know how new workout clothes can inspire you? The same is true for a tidy nook or a clean sink: they invite you to come and stay a little longer. This baby was not beckoning anyone. And lest you think I haven't cleaned this in months, it isn't so. Coffee, chocolate, tea, bbq sauce, & carrot juice all worked their magic on my poor little sink this week.

I've been a dedicated Norwex fan for years, but I have a confession to make: until last week I still used bleach to clean my kitchen sink. I know, a complete denial of all that I hold to be true and good about cleaning. But I inherited this sink when we bought the house. It rarely looks sparkling clean, and I was tired of scrubbing my heart out with magic erasers.

Enter: Norwex cleaning paste and an envirosponge. Two products I'd used before, but I was using the sponge to wash dishes (not my favorite...the netted dish cloth is my main squeeze at the kitchen sink...I cut them into four pieces to make them last longer!) and mostly using the paste to get hard water stains off my bathroom sink. This is such a great example of how learning to use a product well can transform your experience!

Cleaning my sink with the effective abrasive side of the sponge, along with the paste, took me about 5 minutes for both sides. Even when I used to bleach them the process took a little longer.

You don't have to use harmful chemicals to get the job done! I'd love to see your Monday Makeover with Norwex! Join my Haven Maker Gab VIP group  to share your little victories and how you are making your home a haven for your people!
